1999 Saab 9.5 Wagon Isuzu Trooper 4x4

My wife has a 1999 Saab 9.5 Wagon. It's a great car with a sporty feel, but best of all it's one of the few cars in which my head does not bump up against the ceiling. I have a 31" inseam and I am 6'3". The car has plenty of headroom on both the driver and passenger side.

I suggest you consider a used Isuzu Trooper 4x4, with extras if you're tall but maybe choose not to spend $40K+ on a big SUV. I am 6'3" (36" sleeves 34" inseam) and drive alot of miles. I have tons of headroom (I could wear a big hat if I wanted), and even better visibility (rear, side and front angles). Better yet, a loaded '99 or '00 model (6CD, leather, auto4x4 TOD, great AC, etc.) used with normal miles is $12K-$14K in good condition. Peppy V6 gets me around fast, and camping is great too. I have had no problems with mine and I have put about 40K miles on it (I got it with about 30K miles). I recently moved a queen futon, and other stuff with no problem, the seats fold flat very well and lock. I can move large boxes easily, luggage is swallowed, even with 4 passengers all 6'3" !! 4X4 system lets you use it on dry pavement or lock in LOW for deep sand or hills. The only thing I would trade mine for is a Landcruiser, but the price on those - even used - means I am buying a basic model 8 or 10 years older than what I have and with way more miles. It is way easier to park than anything else that holds us tall guys, and I usually pass them up the hills on freeways. I get 15 mpg all around and I am a lead foot...
