I was referred to your site in my search for an SUV with enough headroom for me. I'm 6'4", 32" inseam, but having sat in most of the vehicles on your website can say that I don't really fit in any of them. So far the only real vehicles I fit in are the Honda Element, and the Scion.

I am 6'4", most of it in my torso. I have tried most cars, and find the upper ridge of the windshield in my line of vision, to say nothing of the rear view mirror. I am 40" from my behind to the top of my head. The only vehicle I have found that works is a Chevy Venture. I can lower the seat, tilting the bolster to keep it off the back of my legs. It is not flashy, but I do fit. Leg room is not a problem for me usually. All of the pickups and SUV's I have tried have less than 37" of head room.

I am 6ft4 and I'd like to recommend the 2003 Nissan Murano. It has a large cabin space with adjustable steering wheel and peddles. I have a 36 inch inseam and the head rest even extends high enough for me. I can have the seat back almost vertical and still not bump against the sunroof. This was one of the few vehicles I was able to sit in comfortably.

Editor's Note: The 2004 version of this vehicle is included in our "4 best of '04" list and can accommodate taller drivers.

Hi, I'm 6'4" but have a long torso. I would be dimensionally 6'5" or so. I've always had a problem with headroom, so I have bought vehicles with this in mind. Ford Econoline Vans have been great, Dodge Ram Pick-Ups are good too. As far as cars, the Volkswagen Cabrio is great. It has a lever that puts the seat up or down, and the seat can go way back. I'm currently looking at a Jeep Laredo, with no sunroof, and full power seats.

I love my 1996 Ford Taurus. I am 6'4" and have plenty of room for both my legs and head. And, amazingly, plenty of room in the backseat for tall passengers!

I am also 6'4" and have owned two VW Scriocco's '81 and 85' they always had tons of leg room. Of course I say VW Golf because VW does not make the Scriocco model any more, however I have driven a friends Golf and had enough room. I currently drive a 95' Ford F-150 and it works great for me.
