6ft8 Drivers Recommend

When my daughter left home, I tried every two seater
on the market. I am 6ft8 with a 38 inch inseam. The only one that
fit well was a big old American Corvette. I drive a 1996 Chevy
Corvette and I recommend it to other tall drivers. This car
is lithe and snappy and gives me a feeling very different from my
normal lumbering gentle giant feel.

I have just been searching for a van or SUV with
headroom and it is a real challenge. I read some of your reviews
and am not sure who was sitting in the drivers seat, but the only
vans/SUVs that have headroom enough for me ( 68 240
pounds) are the new 2004 Toyota Sienna which has power seats
and a bonus telescoping steering wheel so that when you put the
seat back your knees are not jammed against the back of the steering
wheel. Great engineering for big guys, and works for those of you
with more petite spouses who share vehicles. I am going to purchase
the Honda Pilot though, because it fits my size much better
and has a great roomy feel to it. After spending years crunched
and scrunched into smaller vehicles this is my top choice for comfort
and headroom. The only problem with these two vehicles is that they
both come with hefty price tags. The Honda fully loaded or the Sienna
will make you reach deep into your pockets but the comfort and longevity
as well as quality of these vehicles will be reward enough, and
you will save on your chiropractic bills after those long trips.
I should know...

I am 6ft8, and believe it or not, I fit in a 1993
Ford Festiva, I also have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Pick
up.
